Half day walking tour

This tour combines the historical centre: the hills and downtown. We start visiting the highest of the 7 hills, where the city was founded int the 5th century BC, S.George’s castle. We will then enter the oldest district of Lisbon: Alfama and discover the narrow twisted streets, unveiling local curiosities that only locals are aware.

This tour starts in Belém, the south western part of Lisbon and the most monumental one connected with 15th and 16th centuries. The place from where many caravels left to the maritime discoveries.

Only 40 minutes away from Lisbon, Sintra mountain range was inhabited since early times by the Celts who worshiped the godess of the moon and since the XIVth century elected by the Portuguese kings as a summer residence. In 1995 Sintra was classified by Unesco as World Heritage in the category of Cultural Landscape.
